You’ll be part of a dynamic environment that values teamwork, clinical excellence, and growth , providing both inpatient and operative care for a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Provide expert perioperative and inpatient care for cardiothoracic surgery patients ✅ Assist in complex cardiac procedures, including endoscopic vein harvesting (Maquet-Getinge system) and first assist in surgery ✅ Manage ICU and floor patients (CVICU and step-down) ✅ Participate in two full-day clinics per week and assist with additional cases as needed ✅ Collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, and nursing teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes ✅ Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic and laboratory results ✅ Develop and implement detailed care plans, prescribe medications, and maintain accurate documentation ✅ Perform bedside procedures appropriate to cardiac surgery care ✅ Maintain CME requirements and stay current on surgical innovations Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies – Required PA-C Certification (NCCPA) – Required 3 years of experience in Cardiac or Cardiovascular Surgery and ICU patient management – Required DEA License & full prescriptive authority – Required BLS Certification – Required Eligible for Medicare/Medicaid provider status – Required No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA lists – Required Compensation & Benefits: Salary Range: $100,588 – $143,769 (commensurate with experience) Bonus Potential: Quality & productivity-based incentives Relocation Bonus available for eligible candidates CME Allowance for ongoing professional development ️ Paid Malpractice Insurance Comprehensive Benefits Package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability 403(b) Retirement Plan with employer match optional 457(b) Paid Time Off (PTO) from start date Colorado FAMLI paid family & medical leave Educational Benefits: Tuition reimbursement and paid degree options Additional perks: Pet insurance, identity theft protection, employee discounts, and wellness programs How to Apply: Ready to elevate your career in cardiac surgery?
