Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified Hospitalist for a locum tenens opportunity in New York. This assignment begins on Mar 9, 2026, and spans 42 days, featuring a 7 on/7 off schedule with 12-hour day shifts from 7 am to 7:30 pm. The Hospitalist will handle admitting and/or rounding duties in a closed ICU setting, utilizing Cerner EMR.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide hospitalist coverage, including patient admission and rounding
  • Manage acute inpatient care in a closed ICU setting
  • Utilize Cerner EMR for clinical documentation and patient management
  • Adhere to facility protocols and standards of care

Additional Information
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine required
  • New York medical license required at time of submission
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Must provide a Self-Query NPDB report pulled within the same month as submission
  • Provider must not reside within a 75-mile radius of the facility
