This is a full-time, permanent role in a 22-bed ED with an annual volume of 28,000 visits , offering competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and your choice of W2 with full benefits or 1099 with guaranteed shifts . Job Snapshot: Location: Athens, OH ️ Emergency Department Details: 22 beds 28k annual volume 24 hrs/day of physician coverage (12-hour shifts) 36 hrs/day of APP coverage EMR: EPIC Employment Options: 1099 : $250/hr W2 : $240/hr benefits $10/hr bonus for night shifts On-site admin support physician-led environment Locums-to-perm candidates accepted ✅ You Must Have: Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or FM/IM with 2,000 hours of EM experience Active Ohio medical license (or in process) DEA (must be obtained before start) Clean malpractice & licensing history Proof of COVID vaccination List of ED procedures performed – required Not accepting new grads or visa candidates W2 Benefits Include: Health/Dental/Vision with HSA $250K Group Life Insurance 401(k) with employer contribution $3,000 CME Allowance Why Athens, OH?
