Doctor of Medicine | Rheumatology Location: Peterborough, NH Employer: Curative Pay: $300,000 to $350,000 per year Shift Information: Days - 5 days Start Date: ASAP About the Position Rheumatology Opportunity in Peterborough, New Hampshire This outpatient rheumatology opportunity offers a smooth transition into a well-established practice with immediate demand and long-term stability built in. Taking over for a retiring physician, you'll inherit an active patient panel, work within a fully supported clinic environment, and enjoy predictable workdays without inpatient responsibilities. The role is designed for rheumatologists who value autonomy, flexibility, and the ability to focus on thoughtful, high-quality care. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available. Practice Details Hospital-employed, outpatient-only rheumatology practice with an established panel of approximately 683 active patients On-site infusion center with nine chairs and one bed, fully integrated with clinic operations Dedicated clinical and operational support, including an MA, triage nurse, practice manager, and prior authorization specialist In-house diagnostics such as lab services, X-ray, ultrasound, and DEXA to streamline care delivery Schedule Full-time schedule of 32 clinical hours plus 8 administrative hours per week Typical patient volume of 12-16 per day, with flexibility in visit length and new patient mix Administrative work may be completed remotely, supporting work-life balance Part-time options available for physicians seeking reduced clinical time Compensation & Benefits Base salary starting at $300,000, with flexibility based on experience and schedule $20,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 relocation assistance Generous PTO ranging from 203 to 278 hours annually, plus one week of CME time and six paid holidays Comprehensive benefits including malpractice with tail coverage, retirement plan, health insurance, and covered licensure and professional memberships Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology Interest in outpatient-focused rheumatology with infusion oversight Comfortable managing both established and new patients Open to experienced rheumatologists or fellows nearing completion of training About Southern New Hampshire This New England community offers scenic surroundings, strong schools, and a safe, welcoming environment.
