Physics, Adjunct Faculty

The Physics Department at Bellevue College is accepting applications for a part-time position as a physics instructor. We seek a collaborative and equity-minded individual committed to teaching effectiveness and closing opportunity gaps. Particularly desired are applicants with interest and experience in some combination of physics education research, connecting theoretical classroom learning with experimental observation, and building an inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds.

The common duties will be teaching Physics to first year students in one of a variety of courses, presenting the appropriate content in a manner that reflects the background of the students for whom the course is designed while achieving the course objectives as described in the course outcome documents provided by the department.
