Your Opportunity: This Physiotherapist II position with the Prehabilitation Program is a hybrid clinical role offering services virtually, and in person. Prehabilitation (Prehab) helps patients to prepare their mind and body for surgery. The AHS Prehabilitation Program offers service options across four domains – Feeling Ready, Being Active, Eating Well, and Living Well. The prehab team offers universal, targeted, and personalized services for pre-surgical patients across Alberta. As a PT II, you will develop and deliver interactive, live webinars and group programming as well as 1:1 clinical assessment and intervention. Prehab content is developed across surgery types, and patient functional needs. The PT II will focus on the ‘Being Active’ domain while working collaboratively across all Prehab domains to ensure evidence-based, effective interventions.
