Physiotherapist/Exercise Physiologist Grade 1/2 – Part-time 0.4-0.6 FTE
The Victoria Clinic has recently moved into a new state of the art, purpose built inpatient mental health hospital, which includes a rooftop gymnasium, expanding to 115 beds. The Victoria Clinic provides a range of inpatient programs, which are growing to meet the needs of patients.
The Victoria Clinic has an exciting opportunity for motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist/Exercise Physiologist to develop and facilitate group exercise programs and education sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and facilitate group therapy sessions in the gym
• Provide physical assessment services to people with a wide range of psychiatric conditions in an inpatient setting as required.
• Liaise with referrers, multi-disciplinary team, relatives, and other services as required.
• Participate in the development and evaluation of policies and programs as appropriate.
  

To Be Successful In This Role You Should Possess

• Experience in facilitating a range of exercise groups for inpatients with mental health conditions
• Ability to plan, implement and monitor exercise groups
• Experience working with clients with a range of mental health issues
• Degree in Physiotherapy or Human Movement, Exercise Science, Physical Education or equivalent
