Our client, a leading customer communications company is looking for a Picker Packer to work on their Sheffield site base.
As the pick/packer, you will provide an efficient materials management system through the receipting, storing, and despatching of materials, goods, and products to feed business operations and meet customer demands.
Main Duties
Loading and unloading of vehicles. Take delivery of goods into the warehouse per the company delivery specification and check for missing or damaged items. Accurately book goods into stock using the computerised stock system. Sort and store materials/items onto racking and shelving and accurately record the stock location on the computerised stock system. Pick items from throughout the warehouse and prepare and order’s for despatch. Deliver goods to production promptly. Update computerised stock systems to ensure stock records are accurate.
