Responsibilities:

  • Lay out, position, align, and fit components according to engineering drawings or schematics.
  • Bolt, clamp, and tack weld parts to secure in position for welding.
  • Select appropriate equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding procedures.
  • Set up welding equipment and perform welding using FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes on pipe and plate materials.
  • Perform welding in accordance with approved welding procedures and industry standards such as AWS D1.1 and D1.6.
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts as needed. ...
