Job Description Position: Pipefitter Location: Springfield, Illinois, United States Pay: $36 per hour Hours: 45-55 hours per week, including some Saturdays Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team in Springfield, IL . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing and maintaining piping systems, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair piping systems in industrial and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Cut, thread, and assemble pipe materials with precision. Ensure all installations comply with OSHA and company safety standards. Perform inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of piping systems. Work with a variety of materials, including metal, PVC, and copper. Requirements Proven experience as a pipefitter or in a related role. Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Must have current OSHA certification and follow all safety regulations. Must pass pre-employment drug screening. Certification in pipefitting or related trade is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules.
