Pipefitter
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Pipefitter for a company located atthe Port of Tampa, FL.In this role, you will assemble, install, and maintain piping systems aboard marine vessels, ensuring all work meets maritime standards and safety requirements.Pay Rate
Based on experiencePipefitter OperatorDuties and Responsibilities•Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine piping system layouts.•Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to specification using appropriate hand and power tools.•Install, secure, and align pipes, fittings, valves, and related components according to project requirements.•Inspect and test installed systems using pressure gauges and other testing equipment to ensure proper operation.•Collaborate with other trades to coordinate work activities and meet project schedules.Pipefitter OperatorQualifications and Requirements
•3+ years of proven experience as a Pipefitterin a shipyard or marine industry.•Knowledge of marine piping, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.•Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in pipefitting.•Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications.•Able to obtain a TWIC card and pass a fitness-for-duty physical examand work safely in confined spaces and at heights.Job Type
