Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Piping Designer with strong hands-on expertise in Aveva E3D software. The ideal candidate should have experience in 3D modeling of piping, structural, and equipment components, with sound knowledge of P&ID interpretation and clash-free design.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 3D modeling for piping, structural, and equipment using Aveva E3D.
• Interpret and work from P&IDs and plant layouts for piping design.
• Plan and execute piping routing in 3D models ensuring clash-free design.
• Extract piping deliverables including isometrics, reports, and MTOs from 3D models.
• Update 3D models based on equipment vendor drawings and ensure compliance with piping requirements.
• Comment on vendor drawings with respect to piping design considerations.
• Identify and resolve clashes within the 3D model.
• Address and close model review tags in coordination with engineering teams.
• Prepare 3D model snapshots/mark-ups for discussions, issue resolution, and engineering reviews.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Aveva E3D software.
• Strong understanding of P&IDs, layouts, piping components, and equipment arrangements.
• Experience in clash detection & resolution within 3D models.
• Knowledge of isometric generation, report extraction, and deliverables management.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and resolve engineering issues efficiently.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
