Piping Designer

We have an immediate need for a Piping Designer. This position can be worked out of Jacksonville, FL, Dothan or Brewton, AL.


This is a contract-to-direct opportunity and expected to be permanent within 6 months. 



Base salary estimated at 70-100K once direct. OT is typically available!



You are expected to be available for a minimum of 40 hours per week and be able to work fairly independently in office.



Job description:

Responsibilities – Piping and Mechanical Design, 90%

Create or modify drawings as required, without assistance using correct layers, line types, borders, etc.

Detailed installation design of pipe and mechanical equipment.

Green or brownfield design of systems based on P&IDs and equipment drawings.

Detailed check of mechanical/piping drawings.

Perform field work

Inspect field conditions.

Verify existing field conditions.
