Duration : 1-year contract

Role Description

Purpose: Reporting to the lead, static equipment engineering the piping engineer provides piping engineering support to Albian Value Streams under the frame of the Plant Engineering Management and the Pressure Equipment Integrity Management System PEIMS.

Experience, Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, or a related discipline , with 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience in piping systems design within oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, mining, or energy facilities
• P.Eng designation or eligibility for registration in Alberta
• Familiarity with heavy oil mining operations considered an asset
• Strong knowledge of applicable piping standards and codes (ASME, ANSI, API, ISO, CSA Z662, etc.)
