We're hiring Piping Material Engineer for one of our Leading MNC in Oil Gas to join their growing team. This position is based out in Chennai.

  • Education: BE / Btech Mechanical Engineering;
  • Preparation of Piping Material Specification (PMS);
  • Preparation of Valve Material Specification(VMS) including of Valve Data Sheet SP Item Data Sheet;
  • Knowledge of ASTM materials specifications for pipes, forgings, castings, wrought fittings, plates and bolting materials;
  • Knowledge of Pipe wall thickness calculation;
  • Knowledge of Vacuum thickness calculations;
  • Good knowledge of Code for Pressure Piping, ASME, ASTM, API standards;
  • Preparation of MTO.
