Overview

CANDU Energy Inc./ AtkinsonRéalis Nuclear Inc. is actively seeking a qualified Intermediate Mechanical Designer to support engineering roles for nuclear projects in major areas, including new builds in the province of Ontario, international new builds, refurbishment, and continuous plant operation support modifications for nuclear power plants.

Your Role

• Prepare electronic documents in AutoCAD; sketching, three-dimensional computer modeling, drawings, and construction documents.
• Apply relevant codes & standards and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with the design team to ensure compliance.
• Interface with engineering teams throughout the lifecycle of the design project (i.e., from preliminary and conceptual engineering to detailed design, implementation and close‑out) to provide practical and effective solutions as per requirements.
