Piping

• Acts as Lead Engineer for for a large project with full responsibility.

• Quality / HSE :Performs discipline / inter-discipline check of documents .Ensures that the required integrity and quality of the work is maintained. Familiar with Quality / HSE management system and their procedures. Ensures timely corrective actions for identified nonconformities.

• Project Execution : Executes the engineering and design works within budget and schedule.

• Coordinates with other departments and resolves engineering issues.

• Provides engineering inputs during all design phases including interpretation of standards. Actively communicates with other departments to optimize areas of interface during design development, review and check processes. 

• Discusses with support engineers and designers regularly on scope, man-hours, resources and schedules. Participates in weekly Technical and progress reviews of projects. Familiar with organization procedures and international standards and codes.

• Business Development : Visits clients attends seminars/workshops and makes technical presentations.

• Proposals : Reviews scope of work and seeks clarification for ambiguous / incomplete / incorrect information. Assists department head in preparing man-hour estimates.

• Planning & Scheduling : Provides input to project execution, planning and scheduling.

• Contracting & Procurement : Identifying project specific engineering and design elements which require subcontracting.

• Technical Review of designs and documents: Thoroughly guides the team and reviews all documents/design/analysis files to ensure technical accuracy.

• Experience in Evaluation of vendor Offers & Co-ordination with SCM / Vendor. Review / Approval of engineering & Quality documents post order.

• Site delegation as per contract requirement.

• Relevant experience in Oil & Gas, refineries and Petrochemical industry.

• Awareness of 3D tool developments and updates in present market condition.

• Knowledge on the other part of Piping Engineering

• Knowledge on the activities performed in other engineering discipline that have Piping importance.

• Awareness on Digitization Techniques

'- Leading the Entire Project during Client 3D Model review.

- Awareness of other Discipline Deliverables and the importance to Piping at various stage of project.
