Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Piping Stress Engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas industry to act as a lead in our engineering projects. The role involves developing stress analysis methodologies, managing vendor and engineering tasks, and providing solutions for critical piping issues. This full-time position is based in Pune (hybrid work model) and requires a candidate with profound experience in CAESAR II, FEED projects, and a comprehensive understanding of engineering practices within the oil and gas domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Piping Stress Lead, developing project philosophies and design bases for piping stress.
  • Manage engineering tasks involving vendors and subcontracted companies within your expertise area.
  • Prepare technical requisitions and conduct technical evaluations of vendor proposals.
  • Perform static analysis utilizing CAESAR II for all applicable load cases.
  • Review and approve outsourced piping stress engineering designs, ensuring compliance with updated vendor documentation.

    • Must-Have Skills:

  • Proficient in CAESAR II for stress analysis.
  • Extensive experience in FEED and detailed design in oil and gas projects.
  • Strong knowledge and application of AIV/FIV studies and mitigation techniques.

    • Industry Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector, specifically within production facilities, onshore, offshore, and FPSO modules.
  • A Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent) is essential for this role, with a preference for candidates holding a master’s degree.
