Main purpose and scope of job

Reporting to the Head of Development, the Intern will support the delivery of projects/programmes as defined within the Development pipeline or wider strategy. The post holder will support bidding activities including portal monitoring, initial opportunity assessment, tender preparation, and contract handover, liaising with internal support functions and external partners as necessary.

Bidding activities will include municipal collection, streetscene, grounds maintenance, treatment or disposal opportunities. These will primarily involve local authority contracts and various tender routes identified in current legislation.
