Job Description
Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Attorney (5–20 Years Experience)
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Relocation Assistance Available) Practice Area: Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Only
We are partnering with a well-established plaintiff’s personal injury firm seeking an experienced Plaintiff’s PI Attorney to join their litigation team. This role is designed for a true plaintiff’s attorney—someone whose practice has been primarily focused on plaintiff-side personal injury, not an attorney who handles PI as only a small portion of their caseload.
Ideal Candidate
5–20 years of plaintiff’s personal injury experience
Proven background handling PI matters from intake through resolution
Currently practicing (or previously practiced) at a plaintiff-side PI firm
Strong litigation, case management, and client communication skills
Juris Doctor from a respected law school (e.g., Baylor Law School, University of Texas School of Law, or similar)
Licensed and in good standing (Texas license preferred; relocation supported)
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Fresh caseload provided so you can ramp up thoughtfully over several months
No pressure to immediately originate cases while onboarding
Strong initial salary to ensure stability during the transition period
Salary is phased out over time as fee income increases
Attractive fee-split structure, including:
Fees on cases you work on
Enhanced fees on cases you originate and work
Fees on cases you originate and refer internally within the firm
This structure allows attorneys to build long-term earning power while benefiting from the firm’s existing infrastructure, reputation, and marketing.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing a plaintiff’s personal injury caseload
Handling litigation and pre-litigation matters
Working closely with firm leadership and support staff
Developing cases through resolution while maintaining high client service standards
Optionally originating cases and building a personal book of business within the firm
Relocation
The firm is open to relocating the right attorney, allowing the search to extend beyond the Fort Worth market.
