Interfor is seeking skilled, dependable and safety-minded team players to join our Castlegar BC division as a Planer Technician/Millwright Certified Industrial Mechanic/Millwright. Starting wage for this position with a Millwright Red Seal Certification is $50.117 per hour. Location: Castlegar, British Columbia. Employment type: Full Time.

Responsibilities

• Observe planer machine operation and adjust controls to ensure highest quality and production standards.
• Perform routine/preventative maintenance on all planer machine equipment.
• Maintain planer cutter heads and knives.
• Operate in a safe and productive manner to prevent injuries.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in and around the work area.
• Perform machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance of Planermill and Kilns equipment.
