Planner - Bancroft

The Hastings County Planning Department has an opening for a Full‑Time Planner . This is a non‑union position reporting to the Director of Planning, Tourism and Economic Development. Under general direction of the Director of Planning and Economic Development, the Planner position is responsible for processing, reviewing and reporting on various planning applications and planning related issues and policies. This position will report out of our satellite office in Bancroft, Ontario, with the requirement to attend meetings at the County Administration Building in Belleville as required.

Report Writing & Preparation

• Review and prepare reports for a variety of planning applications and policies.
• Present reports and background information to the Planning/Land Division/9-1-1 Committee, local councils and committees.
