Job Description
Responsible for planning, scheduling and managing all aspects of production materials to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's resources as well as managing inventory levels
Plans and manages procurement of materials and all production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
Coordinate material requirements with Engineering, Finance, Logistics and Procurement to ensure 100% on-time delivery by establishing and monitoring schedule to proactively identify and address any issues.
Work with suppliers to establish the appropriate delivery quantity and frequency for Just-In-Time delivery.
Maintain accurate open Purchase Order lines to define the inbound quantities and due dates from suppliers.
Identify material demand, report/status Bill of Material issues, and collaborate with Logistics to resolve inventory discrepancies.
