Job Description
Summary Boston Scientific (BSC) is seeking an experienced Planner/Buyer contractor to support production scheduling, material planning, purchasing, and inventory coordination for a 6-month onsite assignment.
Key Responsibilities Planning Responsibilities
- Maintain and update BSC’s master production schedule.
- Conduct 'what-if' analyses based on regulatory, supply, or demand changes.
- Prepare planning reports, summaries, and presentations for internal meetings.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability for production.
- Participate in BSC Forecast, Allocation, Inventory, Supplier, and Delivery meetings.
Buyer Responsibilities
- Create purchase orders (POs) and maintain purchasing documentation aligned with BSC requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers on order acknowledgments, delivery commitments, and pricing updates.
