Job Description

DEFINITION

: Research, compile, analyze, and produce reports regarding various educational and comprehensive planning matters such as school enrollment projections, school boundaries, and capacity relief strategies. Coordinate with the Division of Information Technology on data and system issues. Manage geographical information systems (GIS) services that includes maintaining system hardware, software, and data. Perform analysis and technical work associated with the database integrity as it relates to the GIS platform and extensions. Provide high level logistical and technical support.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
  • Maintains and supports GIS hardware, software, and data. Uses GIS technology and other programs to prepare, present, and analyze data. Develops specialized maps to support BCPS initiatives and programs. Prepares multimedia reports and presentations.
