Job Description
Summary
The Planning Assistant will work with the planner and production supervisor once priorities have been established to coordinate the flow of work and material based on daily and weekly production schedules. The Planning Assistant will updates and maintain work order dates and scheduled ship dates to the customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Interacts with shop floor management on a regular basis to resolve issues and achieve daily production requirements.
• Works with Inventory/Stockroom to fill component shortages.
• Analyzes and prepares documents (work instructions, travelers, etc.) needed for production.
• Drives to achieve established targets for revenue and on time delivery.
