Overview

As a Planning Clerk at Southern Cable Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in the company's production planning and scheduling processes. This full-time position is based in Kuala Ketil, Kedah, and will involve managing the coordination of materials, resources, and production activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and organisation objectives
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage material replenishment to avoid stockouts and minimise excess stock
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, operations, and sales, to align production plans with business needs
  • Participate in the implementation of new production planning and scheduling systems and processes
  • Provide administrative support, such as maintaining records and documentation, to the production planning team
