Job Description – Planning Engineer (Electrical – Industrial Project)
About the Role
To plan, monitor, and control electrical works for a large industrial project by developing detailed schedules, tracking progress, coordinating with execution teams, and ensuring timely project delivery within approved timelines and budgets.
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
Prepare detailed project execution schedules (Master Schedule, Look-ahead Plans, Weekly & Daily Plans).
Develop Electrical work schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
Identify critical activities and project milestones.
Monitor schedule adherence and propose recovery plans for delays.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress of electrical works.
Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and MIS for Project Head & Management.
Coordinate with site execution teams for actual vs planned progress.
