The Planner is responsible for overseeing and streamlining all planning activities within an organization. This role ensures that all resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, are efficiently allocated to meet organizational goals. A key part of the position involves aligning daily operations with long-term strategic objectives, managing workflows, tracking progress, and adjusting plans as necessary to avoid delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning & scheduling:
- Develop and manage detailed schedules, plans, and workflows for various departments.
- Issue shop floor production orders with all required specifications, routing, and instructions. Track production order progress, update status, and ensure timely job closure.
