Planning Solicitor – (Flex location)

A well-established Scottish law firm is seeking a Planning Solicitor to join its expanding team. The role involves advising a diverse client base across Scotland’s planning landscape, including public bodies, developers, landowners, and financial institutions.

The team is particularly active in the renewable energy sector, supporting projects in wind, hydro, solar, and energy storage. They also work across other industries such as residential and commercial development, mining, and natural resources, and regularly assist funders with planning and environmental due diligence.

The successful candidate will handle a broad range of planning and environmental matters, including negotiating legal agreements, advising on appeals and enforcement, and supporting transactions involving property and corporate law. While two years of relevant experience is preferred, applications are welcomed from candidates at all levels who demonstrate ambition and capability.
