Planning Supervisor

Job Description Job Description Responsibilities include: Collaborate daily with operations management, purchasing, logistics, and shop supervision to set and meet production goals. Provide leadership and day to day supervision to a small team of buyer-planners. Develop and communicate lead times for new order and committed ship dates to the sales organization based upon uncommitted material and availability of capacity. Review and analyze available capacity. Identify areas of risk to Operations Management. Based upon MRP signals and kanbans to release work orders to the production floor to support build plans. Work with other systems team members, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, and manufacturing supervisors to understand the needs of both internal and external customers. Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan. Identify gaps and drive solutions. Identify improvements and solutions to planning processes and tools.
