Plant 3D Developer

Key responsibilities include: Customize and develop Autodesk Plant 3D using .NET (C# / VB.NET) and Plant 3D APIs Configure specs, catalogs, project setup, orthographic drawings, and isometrics Develop and maintain custom plugins, add-ins, macros, and automation tools Manage and customize Plant 3D project databases (SQLite / SQL Server) Create and modify P&ID symbols, templates, title blocks, and reports Integrate Plant 3D with other Autodesk tools such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, and thirdparty systems Troubleshoot Plant 3D model, performance, and data issues Support project teams with implementation, training, and best practices Ensure compliance with company and client standards Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Design teams to improve workflows Requirements Technical Skills : Proficiency in Autodesk Plant 3D Strong experience with .NET development (C#, VB.NET) Understanding of 3D and 2D model creation & Brep and Mesh geometry Hands-on knowledge of Plant 3D APIs & ObjectARX expertise in AutoCAD and AutoCAD plant3D API development. Experience with AutoCAD customization Understanding of Piping, Equipment, P&ID workflows Working knowledge of SQL / SQLite databases Experience in Spec Editor, Catalog Editor, and Project Setup Familiar with ISO generation and Ortho drawings Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and documentation abilities Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams Attention to detail and commitment to quality Preferred Qualification: Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Computers / E&TC / Civil Engineering (or equivalent technical background)
