Plant Breeder Tomato

A leading Spanish multinational with more than 140 years of history in the agricultural sector and a presence in over 90 countries is currently looking to hire a Plant Breeder tomato for its base located in Almería.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Lead, execute and optimize our eggplant breeding programs by using the appropriate breeding methodologies and support breeding technologiechnology tools to achieve the company resultsgoals (provide customers with high performance tomato or eggplant varieties).
• Propose, implement, and assess breeding strategies according to available resources and budget.
• Participate and contribute to research project teams when relevant for the breeding goals or target markets.
• Set up Eggplant trials in our breeding stations and with customers, working jointly with Fito’s development personnel in different countriesteams.
