Job Description

Role Purpose:
To manage end-to-end HR operations at the plant level, ensuring smooth workforce management, statutory compliance, industrial relations, and alignment with corporate HR policies while supporting productivity and discipline in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manpower Planning & Recruitment:
Coordinate plant manpower planning with department heads
Execute recruitment for shop-floor, staff, supervisors, and contract labor
Liaise with vendors for contract staffing
Handle onboarding, induction, and deployment at the plant

2. Industrial Relations (IR):
Maintain cordial industrial relations within the plant
Handle worker grievances, disciplinary actions, and domestic inquiries
Support negotiations with unions (if applicable)
Ensure adherence to standing orders and labor laws

3. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws:
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, including:
Factories Act
