Key Project Requirements:
• 10+ years of power generation experience with leadership responsibilities
• Background in combined-cycle or gas-fired plant operations preferred
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental compliance
• Experience supervising plant staff and contractors
Job Summary:
NAES is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at a power facility in Texas. The Plant Manager will be responsible for safe, reliable, and compliant operation of the plant while providing leadership to site staff and coordinating maintenance and operational activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Oversee daily plant operations and maintenance activities.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to plant staff.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed.
Job Requirements:
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to engage with staff, contractors, and leadership.
• Proven ability to foster teamwork and a safety-first culture.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to balance priorities.
Physical Requirements:
• Requires wearing personal protective safety equipment (respirators, safety glasses, hard hat, appropriate footwear, ear plugs, etc.)
• May be required to work around rotating and energized equipment, hazardous materials and chemicals
• Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred
