Plant Operative

FM Conway is currently looking to recruit a Plant Operative to join our Aggregates and Asphalt division. You will play a key role in operating the plant and associated equipment to facilitate production of materials for our customers’ needs. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Reading Asphalt Plant.

The duties of the Plant Operative role will include:

- Operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner that complies with FMC procedures

- Loading of material onto vehicles

- Undertaking all loading shovel operations as required

- Operating all weighbridge functions as required

- Following site Health & Safety procedures

- Contributing to overall well-being and profitability of the site and the business
