Plant Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our plastic film production facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with plastic film types such as HDPE, LDPE, and a solid understanding of processes like blown film extrusion. This role requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to maintaining production efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of production workers across assigned shifts.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the plant, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Monitor production schedules, output, and quality metrics to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify production issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Optimize workflow by introducing process improvements and efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality control teams to ensure minimal downtime and consistent product quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Train and guide team members to enhance their skills and productivity.

Requirements:

• 25 years of experience in a production or supervisory role within the plastic manufacturing industry.
• Strong experience with HDPE, LDPE, and/or blown film extrusion processes is highly valued.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts as per production demands.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (or relevant field).
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
