PLANTING MECHANIC

Overview

PURPOSE:

Perform installs, diagnostics, and repairs in the areas of fabrication, hydraulics, engines. drivetrains, electrical, and mechanical on potato planting and planting support equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:

Must have the ability to perform p/m services as required. Must be able to make repairs on diesel powered engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and on a wide variety of misc. mechanical repairs. Assist co-workers in the shop and in the field. Always maintain a safe and clean workspace. Must be able to perform job qualifications listed above. Must follow directions from Supervisor / Manager. Must be able to clearly fill out job inspection and completion forms to detail in English. Must follow all required safety procedures and guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.
