Job Summary

Job Title: Platform Engineer – SPE1 (3-5 Years Experience)

About the Role

Contribute to the design, automation, and operation of cloud platforms and delivery pipelines. IaC modules, and secure deployment workflows across AWS and Azure. Partner with application teams to enable repeatable CI/CD, containerization, and configuration management with strong security and operational practices.

You will also contribute to secure connectivity through core PKI practices, including TLS/mTLS enablement, certificate lifecycle automation, and policy compliance. Experience integrating with CLM platforms (e.g., Venafi) or cloud certificate services is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation); automate provisioning, configuration, and compliance checks.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) enforce gating, quality, and security scans.

• Operate and harden platform services: networking, load balancers, web/app servers, reverse proxies.

• Apply configuration management (Ansible/Chef/Puppet) and Desired State Configuration for server fleets.

• Integrate AppSec/DevSecOps tooling (SonarQube, Veracode, Prisma Cloud Compute) into pipelines.

• Implement automated testing (unit, component, API, functional) and release workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; perform code/design reviews; document runbooks and standards.

• Automate certificate provisioning and renewal using scripts or tools (PowerShell, Python, REST APIs)

Technical Skills

• 3–5 years in DevOps/Platform Engineering with automation tooling.

• Cloud: AWS and/or Microsoft Azure services, ARM/Azure DevOps, CloudFormation/Terraform.

• Scripting: Bash, Python, PowerShell.

• Config management: Chef/Puppet/Ansible.

• CI/CD: ADO, GitHub, Git-based workflows (GitHub/ADO/Git).

• Networking/security: IP networking, firewalls, load balancers, SSL/TLS; cloud security concepts.

• Servers/Apps: IIS, hosted VMs, web/app/database servers; Windows and Linux operations.

• Datastores: MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB/Redis basics.

Nice to Have

• Observability and reliability practices (metrics/logs/traces, health checks).

• Code signing and artifact integrity practices.

• Go/Node.js/C# experience; .NET/Java application build/release familiarity.
