Platform Engineer – Kubernetes (go)

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join a team responsible for building and operating the core control plane of a cloud platform. You will work on highly available, secure, multi-tenant Kubernetes environments and the internal tooling that enables teams to reliably deploy and operate services at scale.This role sits at the intersection of SRE, Platform Engineering and Backend Engineering, with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and developer enablement.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and operate the core API and control plane of a cloud platform running on regional, multi-tenant Kubernetes clustersEnsure high standards of isolation, security, availability, scalability, and performance across the platformDevelop internal tools and services to automate infrastructure provisioning and platform operationsImplement and maintain monitoring and observability systems to guarantee reliability and operational excellenceCollaborate closely with application and service teams to understand their needs and support optimal deployment patternsAutomate operational workflows and reduce manual intervention wherever possibleStay up to date with Kubernetes technologies, trends, and best practicesActively contribute to platform security, compliance, and reliability initiativesRequirementsAt least 3 years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or a similar roleStrong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and conceptsSolid programming experience, preferably in GoExperience with Infrastructure as Code and templating tools such as Terraform, Helm, or KustomizeFamiliarity with CI/CD and GitOps toolingExperience with cloud-native networking, security, and distributed systems conceptsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsComfortable working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholdersNice to haveExperience with Kubernetes OperatorsKnowledge of service meshes or cloud-native networking solutionsBackground in large-scale or multi-tenant platform environmentsExposure to compliance or security-driven environmentsWhat you can expectWork on a critical platform used by multiple teams and servicesHigh ownership and impact on platform reliability and developer experienceA technically strong, collaborative engineering environmentOpportunities to grow deep expertise in Kubernetes and cloud platforms
