Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled PLC Engineer to join our Maintenance Department at our Medchal Factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining automation systems across Forging, Injection Molding, and Laboratory Units, ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems for automation and plant machinery.
- Create and maintain detailed PLC documentation, including logic diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting records.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to PLC systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and servo drive systems.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional maintenance and production teams.
- Manage electrical maintenance activities within the plant.
- Work hands-on with PLC systems from Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley (AB), Delta, and Siemens.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 3–7 years of experience in PLC programming and maintenance within a manufacturing/industrial setup.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation, SCADA, and HMI development.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, sensors, and control panels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education:
B. E / B. Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation/Diploma or related fields.
