PLC Technician

Job Title: PLC Technician Location: Houston, TX Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Full-time Hourly pay: $27/hr NOTE: You MUST have experience of 1-2 year working on PLC Panels. Only Candidates who meet the requirements will be contacted. About the Role MGR Workforce is hiring PLC Technician to support day-to-day operations on a high-paced assembly line. If you have a good understanding on the operations of PLC systems (finding error codes, programming),T-diagrams, can follow technical direction, and want to grow your skill set, this is a great opportunity. What You'll Be Doing Assisting with troubleshooting PLC-related issues on the line Locate error locations and provide error codes Be proficient to key into the system after the development team (RD) reprograms the system Running simple I/O checks and reporting faults to senior technicians Making small edits to ladder logic under supervision Monitoring equipment performance and recording data Supporting maintenance teams with component swaps, wiring checks and sensor verification Keeping the line running safely by following lockout/tagout and general safety procedures Helping with routine preventative maintenance tasks on automation equipment What You Need Firm understanding of T-shaped diagrams Good understanding of PLCs (example: Allen-Bradley, Siemens or similar) Ability to read simple ladder logic and electrical schematics Comfortable using a laptop to connect to controllers Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction Safety-minded at all times What you must have: 1-2 years of Experience in manufacturing, automation or mechanical/electrical maintenance Formal technical training or certification in electrical, automation or mechatronics Why Work With Us Steady hours on a growing project Opportunity to learn PLC troubleshooting hands-on Support from senior technicians and operations staff Potential long-term opportunities for strong performers How to Apply Submit your resume today.
