Overview
***This position is physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP***
Under the supervision of the Plumber Supervisor, the Plumber Lead oversees corrective and preventive maintenance involving plumbing equipment and related devices on facilities and infrastructure. Conducts Field Surveys (FS) and Initial Assessments (IA’s) for potential construction projects. This task includes but is not limited to the calculation of Bill of Materials (BOM), Labor Hours, Field /Technical Drawings, Project Assumptions and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Ensures personnel exhibit superior workmanship and focuses on delivering a quality product. Follows UFC’s and Department’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure tasks are accomplished safely, with a focus upon quality and plumbing code compliance. Will have direct oversight of Plumbers. Verifies actual hours worked by personnel to reduce manpower expend...
