Job Title: Plumbing Designer

We are seeking a talented Plumbing Designer to join our team in the Houston area with pay starting around 80K. As a Plumbing Designer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the installation of plumbing systems for various projects. Your role will involve collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure that plumbing designs meet regulatory standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing plumbing system design plans and specifications
• Collaborating with project stakeholders to determine project requirements
• Performing calculations to ensure plumbing systems meet building codes and regulations
• Selecting appropriate materials and equipment for plumbing projects
• Reviewing and approving shop drawings and submittals
• Conducting site visits to assess plumbing system installations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in plumbing system design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
• Strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
