A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am an 88-year-old lady living in the Brynna area. In my younger days I trained as a nurse, I then went on to have four children and became a full time housewife and mother, as my children became more independent, I worked in the local school as a dinner lady.


I have had a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease; my husband supports and assists me full time to help me to remain as independent as possible. We are looking for a personal assistant to support with my evening routine.

PURPOSE OF JOB


To assist with the evening routine, this will include personal care, toileting, washing and dressing me for bed.

PLACE OF WORK


In the home.

HOURS OF WORK


2.5 hours a week (5 evenings a week) between 8.30-9.30

RATE OF PAY


£13.00 per hour

TASKS INVOLVED

  • Personal Care – washing, dressing, toileting etc.

  • Prompting with tasks.
