Teaching Assistant – Specialist Support (PMLD)
Location: Edgware, London

Start Date: ASAP We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a student with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) at our college in Edgware. This role is key in supporting the student’s learning, personal care, and well-being within a nurturing and structured environment. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support throughout the college day Assist with personal care routines in line with the student’s care plan Support engagement in learning and access to college activities Respond calmly and consistently to challenging behaviour Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff Maintain accurate records and contribute to planning and review meetings Essential Skills & Experience Experience working with students with complex learning needs or PMLD Confidence supporting challenging behaviour using ...
