PMLD Classroom Support Assistant

Leader Education are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work at a specialist school based in South Tyneside. The ideal candidate will be friendly, compassionate and have some relevant experience working with children and young people with PMLD or SEND . This school caters for pupils aged 2 to 19 with severe learning difficulties and complex or profound needs, aiming to provide tailored support to ensure inclusivity and a fulfilling curriculum.

Their latest Ofsted report was presented as “Good” and continue to pride themselves on having a positive and welcoming atmosphere that students can thrive in.

The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm and is a long-term position given a successful trial.
