The opportunity

The overall purpose of the PMO analyst is to support/assist in the areas of demand, Investment planning, finance, delivery, quality & compliance, change control, Reporting, governance and communications. Scope of role is across all geographic areas such as Americas, EMEIA, APAC and GDS within Office Projects portfolio.,

Your key responsibilities


As a PMO analyst, you will assist:

  • Facilitate Project demand management activities such as demand triage, assessment, Business case development, Sponsor approval and Project setup

  • Assist in Project and engagement code setup in EY systems

  • Monitor Project/Program execution to ensure scope, budget, and schedule adherence

  • Partner with Delivery leads and Project managers to audit project financial and delivery status.

  • Build strong relationships with BRM country leaders, real estate, and country leadership.

  • Maintain effective ongoing communications and relationships between the project team and sponsoring organizations (ARM, Country leadership) where necessary.

  • Drive compliance in the areas of Project and portfolio management

  • Own reporting processes and dashboards to ensure transparency of portfolio health.
  • Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong knowledge of IT project Lifecycle, IT methodologies and toolset 

  • Experience in end-to-end financial management – plan, forecast, actual – function, portfolio and program/project levels

  • Fosters collaborative ways of working with wider teams whilst challenging status quo.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively at all levels in a global virtual cross-cultural environment

  • Strong reasoning and analytical skills

  • Ability to navigate and work within multiple large complex projects and programs

  • Experience with productivity tools (MS Office, MS Project, Powerbase or other data visualization tools)

  • Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure

  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • 5 – 8 years of experience working in Global IT environment in the areas of in portfolio management, PMO or program/project management

  • Proficiency with MS Office suits, Project management and data visualization tools.
  • Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Professional certifications such as PfMP, PMP, or Prince Practitioner.

  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.

  • Experience in professional services industry.
