Today, we power the journeys of over 1 Lakh+ drivers daily through 1,600+ swap stations across India.
Role Overview:
Battery Smart is looking for a General Manager – PMO to drive strategic execution at scale. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution, working closely with founders and CXOs to translate priorities into outcomes. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, brings strong structured problem-solving skills, and has a clear bias for action. This is a hands-on role with end-to-end ownership of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Business Planning
• Partner with leadership to define strategic priorities, programs, KPIs, and Annual Operating Plans (AOPs).
• Translate strategy into executable roadmaps with clear milestones and ownership.
• Structure ambiguous business problems and deliver data-backed insights for decision-making.
2. Program & Initiative Management
• Own end-to-end execution of high-impact, cross-functional programs.
• Build and manage detailed project plans covering timelines, dependencies, and resourcing.
• Track progress rigorously, identify risks early, and drive mitigation to ensure predictable delivery. • Ensure initiatives close with measurable business outcomes, not just activity completion.
3. Operational Excellence & Governance
• Identify execution gaps, process inefficiencies, and systemic bottlenecks across functions.
• Design and institutionalize scalable processes, governance mechanisms, and operating rhythms.
• Build dashboards, MIS, and execution trackers to provide real-time visibility into performance.
• Drive automation and system improvements to support rapid scale.
4. Stakeholder & Leadership Management
• Act as the central coordination layer across Product, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Tech.
• Drive alignment, accountability, and follow-through across senior stakeholders.
• Prepare leadership reviews, updates, and decision-support material for CXO and Founder forums. • Surface risks early, frame trade-offs clearly, and push for timely, high-quality decisions.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in Strategy, Consulting, PMO, Founder’s Office, or Operations roles.
• Strong experience in startups or high-growth environments.
• Exposure to EV, automotive, logistics, energy, or multi-site/franchise models is a plus.
• Strong structured problem-solving and first-principles thinking.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• High ownership mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and limited structure.
What Success Looks Like:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
