Role:
Dedicated to work for the Project Management Office (PMO) he/she participates as stakeholder or leads internal projects related to Company processes, tools and trainings. He/she works for BC Contracting Organization having main internal customers as Project Management, Project Engineering, I&C/Electrical engineering, Procurement, QA, Packaging & Logistics depending on the BCx organization of focus. The tasks/projects assigned depend on business needs in organizational extension and duration. Being part of a global function and as well of a local BC organization he/she will be typically participate or lead either global or local improvement initiatives always focusing on the global harmonization of processes. Tasks:
Development, maintenance and continuous improvement of customer project execution standards (templates, procedures etc) and processes within the Systems division, with special emphasis on their global application and distribution. Process flow diagrams drafting in BPMN coordinating different functions to align the contents. Maintenance of all non-technical, process related tools/softwares necessary for project execution namely risk management, project scheduling, resource planning and cost controlling. Support to users on above mentioned tools and processes. Leading projects for internal improvements following company practices including definition of targets, identification and allocation of budget, scheduling, monitoring of progress, expediting with adherence to targets, implementation of a communication plan. Periodic presentation to Management of progress and results. Evaluating and aligning with the team the global effects and implications of potential decisions to be taken based on local needs. Working as interface with PMO global organization making sure of having constant update and alignment. Bringing forward Company and Contracting Department needs inside cross departmental initiatives. Collecting improvement initiatives inputs from the organization, prioritizing them. Maintenance and development of PMO intranet webpage communication platform. Organizing and/or delivering trainings as required. Ability to understand and align the needs of engineering technical departments, procurement and packaging department without being the responsible for engineering standards development, for the sake of processes development. For processes that are implemented through the use of ERP SAP he/she transfers and secures correct implementation of the business process requirements and aligns IT developers, SAP experts and business functions, locally and on global base as needed. Process adherence monitoring strategy definition and implementation in collaboration with project controller. NCR process coordination, Lesson Learnt process coordination including support to users, facilitation, data and actions postprocessing etc. Burckhardt Compression creates leading compression solutions for a sustainable energy future and the long-term success of its customers.
